I am trying to find plans for a drum sander for sanding... Well you whatever needs sanding (ribs, planks, paddles...).... You get the idea. In the same idea as the one in the book from Stelmok on the wood and canvas canoe...

I bought a Sandrite pneumatic drum 9" dia x 10" wide about 25 years ago, added an arbour, bearings and old furnace motor. It is still going strong. Use it mostly for paddles, but also kitchen paddles/ mixing spoons. They have complete units on pedestals, but don't seem to sell this size any longer.
