Curious about Wooden Canoes
Thanks to a tip from a member here, I tracked down a Dremel 6000 contour sander to sand between the ribs. Dremel no longer makes it, but I found one on Facebook Marketplace for $20. BEST twenty bucks I ever spent.
You can’t buy the ready made sanding tubes anymore, but easy to cut sandpaper to fit . Definitely find one of these if you are stripping or refinishing an Old Town hull interior.
Works like magic and you’ll still have fingerprints at the end of the project.
