i was told this was from manitoba

The fellow I got it from said it came from lake Winnipegosis. He bought it from a duck hunting guide back in the 1960s. It has a y stern and skeg.

Well I didnt think I would be able to stump you guys. I still dont have a clue.

Possibly a Kildonan, built in Winnipeg, but I don't know them well. Hoping Douglas Ingram chimes in since he has worked on a few Kildonan Freighters.

That seems more flat back than Y stern, or is just a big one, it is much larger than the transom on my Peternut freighter.

I was told it could be a chestnut traffic model vee stern. What do you think?
