A buddy Mike Reimer found an old 18' Y-Stern freighter in a barn near Gimli Manitoba in 1990. All these years I've wondered who made this amazing old boat. Recently I spotted an identical model... right down to ribs and stern and bow profile on forum with KAT and Doug Ingram. It's clearly a Kildonan... now the mystery deepens. What was the Kildonan canoe company and can anyone fill me in who these amazing, modest master craftsmen were?
