Glad to see it's going to someone who will appreaciate it and use it.

As for the bidding thing, I try to not bid against another member, but sometimes it happens and like others have said, the highest bidder wins.
And in my case, usually the price gets higher then I am willing to pay and that's Ok. Plus sometimes I know the item is going to good hands too, when I loose to another member.

It's not as though I don't have enough projects waiting.

I think there was much interest in this canoe.But for reasons of geography and and maybe $, lots of people myself included kept an eye on this item knowing they wouldnt be bidding Glad it went to a decent home.
