Once again someone thinks any old canoe is an Old Town. To be fair, there are a couple of paddles with the canoe that seem to have an OT decal on them, and the deck decals seem to be missing. The canoe is likely a Morris -- perhaps may be a Veazie model, based on the shape of the deck, though not necessarily so.
It looks like he's got a very nice canoe with some nice accessories (OT paddles, 2 canoe seats of the sort sold by Morris -- and others -- and two seat backs of a sort not shown in the Morris catalogs -- for sale.
He apparently got his hands on the OT build record for serial no. 14765 (see below) to come up with the 1910 date. But the listing photos pretty clearly show a metal serial no. tag on what looks like a splayed stem -- and no OT ever had such a tag or such a stem.
