Hi Mark,

Your new old canoe possibly dates to 1917. Nice score! You even have the center thwart, and two Morris chairs. The back rests appear to be Old Town, but go nicely with Morris.

Thanks Kathy! It is in fantastic condition. There is a fancy paint scheme under the green one.

Cool if you can re-create the original fancy paint scheme. I think we'd all like to see it!

I've seen the Morris chairs go for anywhere from $200--> $400 each. Very nice that the seller didn't parts the extra stuff out. You may have Morris paddles-- any sign of a decal? I haven't seen a Morris paddle with decal, so don't know if he marked them, but Old Town, Kennebec and others did, so it's reasonable to think Morris might have. I think there was a Morris leeboard with decal on eBay a while back.
