The Old Town canoe with serial number 126675 is a 17 foot long, CS (common sense or middle) grade, HW model with open spruce gunwales, ash decks, ash thwarts, ash seats, and a keel. It was built between February and December, 1939. The original exterior paint color was dark green. It shipped to Washington, D. C. on May 10th, 1940.
The one with serial number 123883 is a 17 foot long, CS (common sense or middle) grade, HW model with open spruce gunwales and a keel. It was built between December, 1937 and May, 1938. The original exterior paint color was bright red. It shipped on April 27th, 1939 to Washington D. C.
