Hi,
Your canoe is a CS grade (Common Sense or middle grade) Yankee Model with open spruce gunwales, Western cedar planking, ash decks, thwarts and seats. It was built in 1943, equipped with a keel, originally painted dark green and sold to and sold to the Milwaukee Boston Store in Milwaukee.
This scan and several hundred thousand others were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others. A description of the project to preserve these records is available at http://www.wcha.org/ot_records/ if you want more details.
