HI all,
welll still looing here in wa st at wood canvas canoes and came across a fred rekards 15' trapeer type I know he was well known in maine and also was one of the few i had seen that glassed instead of canvassed his canoes. anyone here care to share any infoon this man and his canoes? Years back I noticed old town also offered their canoe glassed versus canvas ,any real advantage here ? disadvantage? I ask due to the type of construction and repair issues I am quite well versed in the stripper types .
