As I have bitched a bit about the quality of the journal lately, I owe my admiring public (and the Journal’s editors) an acknowledgement that I found the latest edition of the Journal first-rate! Several meaty well written articles amongst all the color glitter! Well done! Enough exclamation points!

I'll have to get writing more. Many folks have been on me over the years but just so much work in the shop to do as well. This was a solid team effort.

Dan can charm me with his NYS builder knowledge, but those old Maine working canoes, they call me in and they call hard.
I've sat in about that spot in a canoe off of Kineo with my father, my sons, my high school buddies. I got sucked in by that cover and articles did not disappoint. Please do make more time for writing. .
