And it's multilingual. Actually very little explanation of the process.
Watch for it. During the 39th minute he retrieves a crooked knife mistakenly left between the bark and sheathing.

He also doesn't stitch the gores or use a piece of cloth when gumming, except on the stems (hot knife). Slick licked thumb work!

And paddle-making using an axe, finished with a crooked knife.
