time to recanvas

Can anyone tell me how long it might take in actual labor hours to strip an 18' otca and recanvas including filling and painting? What are best products for filling the canvas? what paint is best? How much might I expect to spend on materials?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Martin,

No real single answer to any of your questions. Might I suggest a look at the post by Mike Cav right below yours, a lot of info on materials, prices, time, etc. Also, do a search in the archives for a hundred other answers...when your thoroughly confused, check back and you can probably get another hundred! Also, check with the on-line builders and suppliers for specific pricing. How long will it take, how much time do you have? Are there any other repairs needed besides canvas, filler and Paint?
