Hi Fitz.
Realize it is an old thread but do you remember what paint brand and color was on that boat. I have been considering something similar. Thanks.

Hi Craig:

The color is "Persian Red". I think it was an old Interlux color, but I couldn't get it anymore. So, I called George Kirby IV and asked him for "Persian Red". He said, "sure"! I was a bit apprehensive at the time, because the owner of the canoe really, really, really liked the original color, the owner of the canoe was the CEO of my company, and I wasn't sure how close George could come without a color chip etc., but he nailed it, based on some remaining paint around the keel etc. I can't recall the original build record color, but it had been Persian Red for a long time.
