St. Louis Meramec

I just brought home this canoe, and thanks to Dragonfly's canoe id guide, it looks like a St. Loius Merimac canoe. Very distinctive "arrowhead" decks.
If anyone has one of these, or can provide any details of this canoe and/or company I would appreciate it very much. Thanks!!

The St. Louis Meramac Canoe Company was founded by Alfred Wickett after he left Old Town so there is some information in Sue Audette's book about the Old Town Canoe Company. You can also find out a lot by searching these forums.
