As for a price that's a tough one, as often it depends on what interest there is in the canoe, and what they'll pay for it? As this canoe is a square stern, and most likely heavier it will cater to fewer interested buyers. However it is not as available as many other styles of canoes, has a trailer, and motor so a complete package. Unless you can find anything similar to compare it to I think you'll need some help from this group who would have a better idea than me who has never owned one?
As for the model, after comparing it to the list shown on the Wooden Canoe Museum site there are two possible matches for a 16' canvas square stern canoe. First is a Prospector model called the Trout, built between 1941-56, and the second being the Northboy built in the same time era. Either way you have a very nice canoe and I'm sure there is someone out there who'd like to own it, hope you can find them?
