tried going to the dragonfly website but it seems to be down
looking for id/model, build year for a canoe with 7769 stamped in the stem

Need pics for ID/model. There is known registration of serial numbers for Chestnut/Peterborough.

Jan i used to go to the dragonfly site but it is not accessible
they had a list of Peterborough numbers that gave a model and approx year

I fixed the Dragonfly site, so it is back up.

The number you give is not a typical Peterborough serial number, which would consist of two parts, a model number and a work order number.
