I bought three of the "Perterborough Canadian" model kits a couple of years ago from Bear Mountain Boats; one for me, one for my son-in-law and one for my son. Mine was the only one that got finished and I must say it was fun to build.
It is exactly the same construction techniques as a real one, I'm building a Nomad 17' and I learned much and had many questions answered during the kit building process. I have attached four photo's and hope you enjoy... I recommend it...
