Old Town Canoe looking for a loving home

Hi,
I was introduced to this forum by the great people at Old Town Canoe. I have a kit built OT from the 1900s that is in need of a great home. It is currently living in Harford County Maryland. It is sea worthy but hasn’t seen the water in decades- so might need a bit of work. My Dad acquired the war canoe in the 1940s and fixed both stern and bow. It has a mast, outrigger and rudder for sailing. The canoe was sailed in the Chesapeake in to 40s. That’s pretty much all I know. Original paddles included. I have photos to show after I get 3 posts that show that I’m not a bot lol.

Many old wooden canoes and boats have a serial number on both inside stems and a decal or tag with the manufacturer's logo on the bow deck. The number is usually stamped on the top of the lower part of the stems. The inside stems are the long curved pieces of wood that form the ends of the canoe. You want to look on the part that extends out from under the decks on the bottom of the floor inside the hull. The serial numbers are stamped in each end of the canoe so check both if a single digit is not clear. These numbers in the stern of boats are occasionally on the edge of the center...
