Hello All;
I am inquiring if anyone has knowledge of the Bonner Paddle which Old Town made , when? I own such a paddle which was acquired from the Valley Green Canoe Club of Philadelphia years ago. By chance I did see some patterns which included one marked "Bonner Special" in ink at Old Town in the back of the retail store 15 years ago but no one knew anything about it. Over the years people have suggested that perhaps it was a racing paddle. It has an extremely wide tapered blade(11"-12") and is constructed of sitka spruce with a varnish finish and 20's style O. T. decal. Any input would be most helpful and if I can get a digital photo taken, I certainly will post it. Thanks.
