Avid sea kayaker, canoe paddler and sailor
This may be of interest to anyone who has occasion to visit the Museum.
Many of the boats that the Museum had in the storage facility are now temporarily located in any spare space that they can find on the Museum grounds. As some of you may know, the storage facility is being remodeled to allow the general public to view some of the hundreds of small boats that they have acquired over the decades. Unlike when I visited the storage barn previously, I could get much closer to the canoes to fully appreciate them. I’ll attach a few photos to give you an idea of how the collection is currently viewable.
