Hi Dave
The first post "Looking for a mold" was on 11/28/06 I thought it would take several months to find a mold and as of today I have found 5. A connection I made with the Michigan Maritime Museum in South Haven MI, has come up with two possible molds. It seems everyone I talk to wants to observe the construction. I will definitely share the process with anyone who is interested. I hope to build in July in Michigan, details are still a long way off. I will be testing the planking as soon as I can get it milled, to see how much of a compound bend it can take. Stay tuned this will be fun. I agree on the 1/4" dimension at least until testing shows other choices.
