Langford canoe company -another try

Grizzle

One repair / restoration so far......
I may be being more unobservant than usual but I seem to be unable to find information about the original Langford company and its boats. Also, I'd like a sight of the earlier, Pentagon decal please. Enquiries to the Peterborough canoe museum, and the to the current company, have been unproductive..........

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i was up in their dorset shop in 1989, back when it was still back when, talked to the builder/owner at the time. I can't find the literature from then tho. Here is an early 90's brochure, when they were still primarily a wood/canvas shop building in dorest. a few years later, it became a label for canoes built elsewhere... langford1.jpglangford2.jpg

This is so very kind of you!

This is the only info that I have been able to find anywhere so far! At least I now know that the name Algonquin is a real possible - and the approximate weight I'm aiming for!

If anyone else comes up with any more information, I'll be so pleased to receive it.
