Tom Little
Got canvas

This canoe came from Southeastern MN near Rochester. The story goes something like this. A hardware store owner either built this or sold it around 1920. This hardware store was in Kasson MN. Not much for lakes in the area but a few meandering rivers. It's 14 ft long, oak ribs, pine gunnel, mahogany rub rail, deck, and seat frames. Pine planking. Seems very fancy for a one-off home made canoe in 1920. There are no stamps or any obvious manufacture markings. If there is any additional info needed to help ID this let me know
