Ok. I need to know the best way to approach cleaning up an area of separation before re-resin/epoxy-ing. I would assume sanding the area out, but with what? Or is there a better way? See pix... One butchered area 
and two other areas not yet accessed. To get to the screws is really quite easy and clean using a drill bit. There are only 3-4 places that will need any more than just removing the screw. After removing all screws and fixing the areas that need it, I will be adding 3/4"w x 5/8"h inner keel down the center covering the holes and joining the 2 inner stems.
