Ebay Truscott

Who hid my paddle?
Does anyone know about Truscott? Ebay has one and it is said to be one of only two in existence and the other one is in a museum and not as nice as this $4,000 plus example. Anybody HAVE a Truscott? Sorry, I did not copy the link.

And no, I don't have that kind of money laying around. Just curious.

There was a message/something about a long time collector getting old and selling off his collection, could this be one? Supposedly he had some very rare canoes. Don't remember who or where I saw it.

Racine Boat, Shell Lake Boat, and Truscott Boat were in an amalgamation for a very short period of time starting in 1912. It was very short lived. It was called "Racine-Truscott-Shell Lake Boat Company" and it had 5 stockholders. J.M. Smith of Shell Lake was president and treasurer; J.M. Truscott of St. Joseph, MI was secretary; and F.A. Wadswoth of Shell Lake was assistant treasurer. By 1913 Paul Findlay of Madison, WI was president and treasurer.
