Gil,
Carleton #19745 was a 17-footer in the CS (or common sense) grade built and shipped in 1927 from the Old Town factory. It had open spruce gunwales, and birch decks, seats and thwarts. It also had a keel and sponsons. Its original color was Old Town design #17. I'll attach a copy of that design from the Old Town catalogs available in the WCHA store. It was shipped to Lee, Mass., which is in the western part of the state.
