Carleton 15227 17

Hi Steve,

Carlton 15222 is a 17 foot regular-grade Carleton model canoe completed June-July 1920. It has red Western cedar planking, spruce gunwales (possibly closed), and maple decks/thwarts/seat frames and a keel. It was originally dark green. It was shipped to Iver Johnson's in Boston, MA, on January 28, 1921.

The Carleton canoe with serial number 15227 is a 17 foot long, regular (or middle) grade, Carleton model with red western cedar planking, closed spruce gunwales, and a keel. It was built between June, 1920 and April, 1921. The original exterior paint color was bright red. It was shipped on April 27th, 1921 to Pike, New Hampshire.
