Dan Miller Jack of No Trades Staff member Jul 10, 2024 #2 It's a Thompson Royal-Craft (Cortland, NY) Royalite canoe built ca 1959-1961 or 1962. They used US Rubber's Royalex. I used to have scans of a brochure but I can't find them. More here: https://fiberglassics.com/forum/main-forum/57738-early-fiberglass-thompson-boat-or-not-sure.html I did the same thing to one of these many years ago.

W Worth Gretter LOVES Wooden Canoes Jul 11, 2024 #4 It's going to look great! But make sure the owner knows that Royalex canoes with wood gunwales (most have plastic) need to be protected from hard freezes.
