Basic Paint Questions: How much paint/primer do I need?

I am hoping to paint my 16' 1942 Old Town Yankee soon. In a week the Kirby's filler will have been setting up for 6 weeks. I plan to use Epifanes Yacht Enamel. Here are some of the questions I am looking for answers to:

How many 750 ml cans should I plan on using?
I have two 750 ml cans of white Kirby's primer already. Do you think that that is enough for a couple of coats of primer? Any problem using Epifanes Yacht Enamel over Kirby's primer?

Shouldn’t have a problem with Epifanes over Kirby primer.
I always count on two cans of paint for canoes.
You might get it done with one, but you might need more. Depends on how satisfied you are with the outcome.
The more you put on, with sanding/fairing between coats, the better the outcome. I do 4 coats at a minimum.
I see a lot of canoes that look like the owner was in a hurry to be done and they look like it could have used a couple more coats of paint….
