I acquired this lovely Kayak north of Sault Ste Marie, ON. It was originally built in this area, I believe. Can anyone help with the age and potential value? It is a joy to paddle. Fits 2 or even 3 comfortably. The chairs are not attached.
A commercially made kayak like yours should have a hull identification number on the starboard stern which can provide more details about who made it and when. It was probably home made if you can't find any numbers. A similar single person example recently sold at https://www.ebay.com/itm/365553872676 for $1200. The demand for multiple person kayaks is lower so the potential value for yours is probably less than that.
