I acquired this lovely Kayak north of Sault Ste Marie, ON. It was originally built in this area, I believe. Can anyone help with the age and potential value? It is a joy to paddle. Fits 2 or even 3 comfortably. The chairs are not attached.

A commercially made kayak like yours should have a hull identification number on the starboard stern which can provide more details about who made it and when. It was probably home made if you can't find any numbers. A similar single person example recently sold at https://www.ebay.com/itm/365553872676 for $1200. The demand for multiple person kayaks is lower so the potential value for yours is probably less than that. The link below explains the factors that influence the value of wood and canvas canoes and many of those will apply to a kayak like yours. The price ranges for kayaks tend to be less than canoes.
