Fitz, did you take the nymph, and if so any shots - looks like a great time yet again, damn job. Lots of time to plan to make Killbear with a sailing canoe, hope to see you with Steve and any other Norumbegas you can drag along! More photos please....

Kindling

Nah, my mother latched on to Nymph and she is putting it through its paces in Maine, which is a good thing.

You were greatly missed at Assembly. There was some kindling around too.

See many thank-yous to the volunteers on another post, but want to say that again here too.
Too bad some members had to miss this Assembly...the combination of the many members that attended, 325 canoes and the Paul Smiths setting made this a great one. Around 425 people is near record if not record attendance. The weather could hardly have been more perfect.
Already looking forward to next year. Here are some photos from the 'staging' portion of the paddle-by...I think we had about 65 participants - it was great!

Early morning photos

Some early morning photos - those who do it know that 6am is a great time to paddle. Caleb Davis instruction at 6:30 each morning was one of the highlights of this Assembly for me.
