Hey Guys - I know some of you have the book/cd to look up a serial number on the older wooden canoes from Old Towne- I purchased this one a few yrs ago here in Asheville, NC - it was actually hanging in a barn!
It's in good shape but needs new canvas and a few planks repaired but no rot at all - I have stripped the canvas and getting ready to start on it but figured I would get the origination info on it now if possible- anyhow if anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated!
This forum is a tremendous help to me as well- Thanks again
Old Towne Canoe ID: 179260
**I believe he said it was sold to a girls camp down the road from him - which would make sense given the incredible # of summer camps here in Asheville
****I will post some pics later today
