Thumbnail Photos Only?

I am new here and find it interesting that we seem to only post photos in thumbnail format.

Click on the thumbnail, you'll get the full size image. By uploading to the forum, you ensure the photos are available when the forum is, and aren't lost when removed from a different server or the photo service goes belly up (like the one lots of WoodenBoat forums members used...)

Also by uploading through the forums, those viewing need only download those photos they want to see (whereas in your case, they will download the image automatically when opening the message). By doing it our way, those with dial up will thank you.
