I posted another thread under the Canoe Photo Index, and I am so excited about my canoe that I am researching when I should be working.

I read another post where someone recommennded that a good cleaning with soap and water was always a good way to start. Any particular kind of soap? Are we talking Dawn Dishwashing Detergent or a general boat/car cleaner type product??

That boat looks better than my newly made ones. I think I'd just go paddling.

TSP is commonly used to wash them out. Home depot has it as does many hardware stores. It looks great.

I use Murphy's Oil Soap, seems to work well !
