Still trying to downsize. Bastien Huron question

Health and age getting to me. I'm downsizing but as I sort through a dozen canoes the Bastien Huron gets my attention. This is a 12 ft boat and much lighter than my 15 and 16ft boats. Did they ever put keels on them?

Hi yes they did. I've restored a few Huron canoes and this one in the picture, built by The Bastien Brothers, shows it with the original keel before I restored it. Hope this helps?
