Old Town 125675 is a 16 foot AA (top) grade square stern model canoe, which was finished from November 1938 to May 1939. It has open mahogany gunwales, 48" mahogany deck, mahogany seats-- which are wide, with folding backs-- a keel and bilge keels, outside stems, sponsons, and a floor rack. Original colors were two-tone dark green and tropical green. The canoe was shipped to Lincoln, ME, on July 15, 1939 and was returned for repairs on March 19, 1945. The list of repairs on the back of the card has also been scanned. Scans of this record are attached below-- click to get a larger image.
This scan and several hundred thousand others were created with substantial grants from the Wooden Canoe Heritage Association (WCHA) and others. A description of the project to preserve these records is available at
http://www.wcha.org/ot_records/ if you want more details. I hope that you and anyone else reading this will join or renew membership in the WCHA so that services like this can continue. See
http://www.wcha.org/wcha/ to learn more about the WCHA and

It is also possible that you could have another number or manufacturer if this description doesn't match your canoe. Feel free to reply here if you have any other questions.
Sounds like an interesting boat--- any current pictures?
