Serial Number search please?

I just purchased an Old Town canoe with serial number: 112756 16 (not sure if this reads 15, or 16 to be honest). Could you kindly research its origin? I am about to put a finish coat of paint on her after 4 prime coats and want to be historically correct. It has a refurbished canvas hull covering.

I have a woman coming to repair her canoe at a course and it would be nice to know a bit more about it.

we don't see too many Old Town's up north of the border - not quite sure that I can fit an 18 ft in my paintroom.
