Welcome, the Old Town canoe with the serial number 229270 is a 17 foot long Otca model with a keel that weighed 88 pounds. It was built between November, 1979 and February, 1980. The original fiberglass exterior was left clear to show the natural wood. It shipped on February 22nd, 1980 to South Euclid, Ohio. It may have moved to New Kensington, Pennsylvania by September 9th, 1980 when the factory responded to a letter referencing this canoe as noted on the back side.
