To the best of my knowlege the Simpson Sears w/c canoes were sold until about 1978. These were all First Nations "Huron" canoes built on their reserve as a cottage style industry in Quebec, Canada. There were other First Nations w/c canoes [ such as Faber ] built outside of the reserve but they were not sold through S Sears. I have found that the Huron canoes were actually 6" shorter and 5 lbs. heavier than advertised. The attachments may be hard to read. They are copys from a few Simpson Sears catologues.
