The Old Town canoe with serial number 173609 is a 17 foot long Otca model with a keel. It was built between December, 1963 and March, 1964. The original exterior paint color was similar to the image shown at http://www.wcha.org/catalogs/old-town/designs/design45.gif which was known as design number 45. It was shipped on March 25th, 1964 to Titusville, New Jersey and returned for repairs on April 14th, 1964.
