Rushton Indian Girl

I just finished canvasing & filling my Rushton Indian Girl. I am about to replace the closed gunnals but I need to know what kind of wood the outwales & cap were made from, the dimensions and how they were attached, special nails or screws. also keel dimensions, it appears to be pre 1906 model.

Probably Ash or Oak, it is a Grade B canoe with that style of gunwales.
