Restoring 16' Peterborough Canoe

When i chemically strip a restoration, the hull gets as much tung oil as it will absorb. Never linseed or other goop. And 1-2 coats of varnish on the outside, to seal and allow the canvas to move about when stretchin. Outer varnish, lower grades preferred lol. When its filled, the interior gets the rest of its coats after the initial coats; the big gaps accept in into the weave and it seals it up nicely. for the next 75 years....
