The Old Town canoe with serial number 24652 is an 18 foot long, AA grade, Ideal model with western red cedar planking, open mahogany gunwales, mahogany decks, mahogany trim, half ribs, a keel, and outside stems. It was built between December, 1912 and March, 1913. The original exterior paint color was dark red with a gold stripe and turned down ends. This may have looked similar to the image at
