Please help me identify this canoe?

All I have to go on is this pic and the word of the previous owner that he was "led to believe that it was made by Old Town".

Can anyone tell by the construction? The PO says that it is 14' in length.

and.....I do know that it has a keel.

Old Town offered a "Canoe in a Box" cedarstrip kit between 1980 and 1985. However, it was only offered in 17' length. I concur with Paul, probably home-built.
