Recently acquired this canoe. 16 ft. beam around 33" however may be wider as thwart seems short. Cane seats, mahogany decks and outer stem over canvass. Otonabee or Rideau? How would I tell the difference between 1st grade and 2nd and what year?

Otonabee. Rideau as 2nd grade version was dropped before switch to 4-digit model numbers. Otonabee as model 1433 was offered circa 1940 through 1962.
