OT Stem Bevel

I am working on a 1919 OT HW at the moment, and I need to replace the old stems. The old ones are in such bad shape that I am having a tough time trying to get an accurate measure of the bevel angle on the face of the stem, and I can't find the info in notes from any others that I have done.

In the past, I have cut bevels by eye once the stem is in the boat, but I figure it would be much easier to cut much of it on a band saw before hand. At least up to the point where the bevel starts rolling. From there I would just get out the spokeshave and have at it.

Does anyone have this info handy? It would certainly simplify things for me, and I'm a simple kinda guy.
