So glad to find this site. Looking for all manufacturing and purchase / owner history on serial # 11358 45. AI told me Old Town Canoe around 1908. Canoe was in Ontario, Canada at a family summer cottage. My Father did some repairs before he passed, but could never find the history on the canoe. I couldn't figure out how to include a photo of the serial #. Thank you.

Welcome, AI still has trouble with canoe identification since relatively little information about this is available on the internet. We will all have to settle for real ignorance for a while. Your canoe does not appear to be an Old Town. My guess is that it may be a cruising canoe from the Canadian Canoe Company known as the model number 45 or Patrol. Page eight of their 1950 catalog at https://woodencanoemuseum.org/index.php/manufacturer-catalog/canadian-canoe-company-1950 has more details. There are no detailed serial number records available for them so further confirmation is limited. Please let us know if you get a better answer,
