When did Old Town begin putting the logo below the gunwales at midship? I thought it was in the early to mid 60's. Thanks

Page 6 of the 1954 catalog is the first time that this logo first appeared there although it may have been air brushed in. Page 7 of the 1958 catalog has one that looks more real. See below and at http://forums.wcha.org/showthread.php?2430 for more details.
